Not only do edible insects require far less resources and emit a fraction of the GHGs per gram of protein produced compared to conventional meat, but our Quebec-raised mealworms (scientifically known by their latin name tenebrio molitor) are fed organic food residues like juice pulps and spent grain from other processors in the Montreal area, reducing waste and eliminating methane emissions.

The result: an incredibly sustainable, local, and ethically responsible complete protein, providing all 9 essential amino acids, fatty acids such as omega 3 and 6, and several micronutrients, including vitamin B12 and minerals like iron, zinc, and magnesium.

Our tenebrio molitor powder has a taste of toasted nuts and is compatible with savoury and sweet recipes (smoothies, shakes, yogurts, desserts, guacamole, snacks, etc.).
